Past COIPS Monmouth Swap meets

Recent COIPS Spring Swap Meets have been held in conjunction with the Monmouth Chamber of Commerce "Pottery on the Square Event" in Monmouth, Illinois. COIPS along with members of The Blue and White Club, The Sleepy Eye Club, and The Red Wing Collectors Society have attended. Activities included a terrific Swap Meet, pottery throwing demonstrations, impressive window displays of rare pottery pieces, and an appraisers tent. Newer members noted that on this special morning many horse trades and sales were made between exhibitors as the sun came up. We always anticipate really nice turn out. Many special pieces of stoneware find new homes. A REALLY GREAT GET TOGETHER FOR STONEWARE AND POTTERY COLLECTORS ON A REALLY GREAT DAY.
